Thai Woman Blogger Eats Bat Soup before Being Arrested
In the News
Besides sounding absolutely disgusting this woman must be braindead to eat bats or bat soup after what has been happening in the world with coronavirus
They are said to have started the pandemic , and i really hope they throw her in prison for the maximum 5 years
YouTube videos of people eating just grosses me out and this is even worse. Anything for attention.
What was the Thai woman thinking of posting a video of herself eating such disgusting food? Does her family and friends do the same thing?
Seems to be a culture there of eating animals that are not normally eaten, its like some sort of macho/strength of mind thing. That mindset seems to be in China, Vietnam, , Korea, Cambodia, Thailand and probably a few other countries too. It's only a minority of people though but as already stated there are many safety aspects to eating animals we don't normally eat that may carry bacteria and viruses we have poor immunity to. I'm a guilty meat eater so I couldn't extend the number of animals I eat, I try to minimise how much meat I eat and have cut out lamb altogether for about 35 years since my first job where I used to pass a cattle market and felt guilty about the sheep I saw. I always planned to extend the amount of meat I didn't eat but sadly that didn't happen. Too much of a fan of chicken and beef in meals.
I don't think i would take a chance eating a burger from Mcdonalds in Asia , who knows what meat they use , that Mchicken could be Mcbat
telmel I saw a video years ago where a sack of dead insects was emptied for chickens to eat in Asia. I think the insects had been fumigated or something so poisoned and so you would think unsuitable for feeding chickens as those poisons would end up in humans. I didn't like the idea of it I seem to remember although I guess maybe some fumigation doesn't taint the insects to make them un-edible to chickens and if they are only occasionally fed them perhaps not such an issue but did certainly show how they deal with heath and safety issues (completely ignore it). I mean the Chinese have poisoned their own babies with a dangerous milk formula, causing deaths, kidney failures and huge issues in 10s of thousands of babies. Some sort of plastic additive often used in worktops and other plastic goods added to their milk formula.
BonzoBanana The mind boggles B , food from the USA is a lottery never mind from China
telmel I remember a few years ago I was using Tesco everyday value toothpaste and it was always great quality and had been using it for a few years. However on that day I felt ill after using it and I had the old rolled up empty previous toothpaste and the new toothpaste I'd just started using. The old one was made in the UK and the new one was made in China and that is fact. I never bought that toothpaste again and always check any toothpaste now I'm thinking of buying to make sure its not made in China. I've also seen toothpaste made in India and while I've never had any issues with made in India toothpaste I'm just not comfortable using that type of product sourced from a country with poor industrial safety standards. China make a lot of great stuff but I just feel food and personal hygiene products are too risky.
BonzoBanana China are great at replicating things B, so it doesn't surprise me your toothpaste made you ill
Who knows what chemicals they used to manufacture it , or possibly the water source to produce it could have been from the yangtze river, one of the most polluted in China
telmel Yes it could have been 1 in every 30 batches of toothpaste has tainted water in or something, so most are good but the consistency isn't there. I presume Tesco check batches or someone does but occasionally the quality is poor. Maybe they put in too much of a dangerous chemical. I'll never buy Chinese made toothpaste again.
I wonder if the McDonalds in Asia have stringent rules like the rest of the world's McDonalds
