  • Price Point: Each bottle priced at £2.49, stirring mixed reactions.
  • Consumer Opinions: Divided feedback on the unconventional flavors.
  • Additional Releases: Heinz also launches tomato ketchup pasta sauce and more.

Aldi's Middle Aisle has become the stage for the latest grocery drama as shoppers discovered Heinz's new ketchup flavors, Bacon and Pickle, which have sparked a spectrum of reactions. Marketed as ideal for the BBQ season, these new offerings at just £2.49 a bottle have certainly caught the attention of the store's patrons.

Summer Raemason at The Sun reported that while some shoppers were eager to try these bold combinations, others were less than impressed. The Bacon Ketchup and Pickle Ketchup have divided Aldi customers, with some praising the inventive flavors, especially the Pickle Ketchup, likened to McDonald's ketchup by one satisfied buyer.

However, not everyone is on board with this culinary adventure. Some critical voices have emerged, with a disgruntled shopper remarking, "Imagine being in a rush and picking up this monstrosity instead of the Original, no thanks." Another simply stated, "Absolutely not," highlighting the polarized reception these new products have received.

In addition to these ketchup variants, Heinz has been busy expanding its product range. Recent launches include a tomato ketchup pasta sauce and a renewed Heinz Beanz pizza, which has returned to shelves after a two-decade hiatus. These introductions come alongside the discontinuation of one of Heinz's classic sauces, causing further stir among fans.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "Heinz's venture into these unique ketchup flavors shows their willingness to innovate and tap into the BBQ season hype. While they may not be for everyone, these new products definitely get people talking and might just become the next big hit or miss in the condiment world."

Honestly, the only thing I love from Heinz is their ketchup. Everything else... Some other brand.
