1 a Week or Bulk

This is a very personal thing but my instinct is to say as many as possible close together especially if the learner lacks confidence or is a bit nervy. Waiting for a weekly lesson can set you back and first part of your hour is spent catching up from before.

Having said that I had 20 weekly lessons and passed first time but I did seem to take to it without undue stress.

I passed my test at the grand old age of 31, and i had 1 a week until nearer my test then it was 2 a week. I paid for mine jn a block booking (like 10 at a time) it worked out cheaper with my instructor. I had the option to do a crash course but decided against it.

I did start learning to drive wben i was 18 and i had 60+ lessons. After about 20 the instructor told me i was ready for my test but i just kept saying no and that i didnt feel ready so i kept paying for lessons then my instructor refused to give me anymore lessons so i never went for my test then. Wish i did now cos my insurance would be pennies by now!!

I went for bulk buy for my sons 17th birthday and at different times of the day as the traffic is not the same all day and this benefited my son as he passed first time try to fit as many as the pocket can afford good luck

Depends how quick she wants yo learn. My son was taking 1-2 lessons a week for several months & paying in block payments. Was told he was ready to take his test when lockdown happened. Now theres a massive waiting list, up to 18 months in many areas.

I did both. I would never do an intensive course again! The instructor was a complete a**e, knocked my confidence, made me feel really uneasy when in the car with him. I couldn't wait to get put the car each day and was delighted when the week was over!

I did 2 lessons a week with a different instructor and it was a completely different experience. I would recommend booking a few lessons with an instructor to see how she feels and then you can do a block booking of lessons.

I did 2 hour lessons lessons weekly and was happy with this, I don’t think I would’ve found an intense course as good personally. I recommend trying to book lessons at different times of the day to get used to driving when it’s busy and quiet.

If you’re a quick learner, and your test is coming up, it’s usually cheaper to bulk buy lessons to get it over and done with

I did a crash course and passed first time- thankfully.

But I was determined so I think it really depends on her but I do think weekly lessons or twice weekly lessons are probably more useful to be honest

If I could afford It at the time I would of done intense lessons. It’s probably the best way.

This is a really good question. I passed many years ago before theory tests and I absolutely hated my lessons. Maybe getting in bulk is better as it would have been over and done with a lot quicker.

I think weekly lessons. That way you get more confident on the roads. Also there's no guarantee of passing after a week's intensive course as I know to my cost, as I paid for my son to do this and he failed his test at the end of the week. It's only the cost of the retake they offer in the event you fail

I had fourteen one hour lessons ,and didn't know one peddle from another when I started and passed first time.
