200 Tonnes of Unflushable Waste Pulled from Sewers

The selfishness and selflessness of human beings never ceases to amaze me. This is an example of the former and the disgusting behaviour of some. This extends to all types of waste......dirty nappies, dog poo, fast food wrappers etc just dropped in street, front gardens overflowing with rubbish that bin men cannot take. The other day I passed a house with the whole frontage covered in furniture, black sacks, plastic boxes etc and just thrown on top a plastic 4 pint milk container still half full, they couldn't even be bothered to tip it away!

Do people really like living in such conditions, do they not appreciate a tidy space to live in? Words fail me.

It’s disgusting. I used to walk my kids to school when younger and was mortified at the sanitary towels and the rubbish. Complained via council app and it was rectified a few times. No need !! Actually had a saying ‘watch your feet it’s jobby street’ kids still say it as that’s how often it was said 😳

lynneh 🤢🤮 the mind boggles. Some say in certain circumstances these people may have mental health issues but for most, they are just lazy. They can't all have mental health issues, can they?

HappyTravels mental If it’s assumed normal for people to see what your household waste is. Would not accept that at all!

Has been so for many years now . I'm afraid the "sewer fatbergs " (a combination of fat, nappies , wipes etc ) have been a problem for many years and only reach the headlines on a slow news day . Nothing to do with mental health just idleness .

We went for a walk across the common yesterday and saw about 8 dog poo bags left in one place. I guess someone left one then others thought, well if they can so can I. We came back a different way but met a lady who showed us she had picked them up and more, so there are some really good people about too.
