2.41 Am and Wide Awake

Yep, also wide awake. I've been lying in the dark for so long hoping to fall back to sleep that I've given up. I'm just about to start reading my book. Hopefully that will help get me back to sleep. Good luck.

04:31am now and I am still awake.

I was wide awake around 2:30 too but didn't switch on my phond or i knew I'd never fall asleep again. Hope you guys got a bit of sleep afterwards

Lol probably looking for deals is keeping you awake! To be fair I’m quite a deep sleeper, all I need is for the lights to be off and my head to hit the pillow and I’m gone!

It’s so difficult wasting time when everyone else is asleep. I use the iPad to play backgammon and browse the web when I can’t sleep. I usually sit in the lounge not to disturb my husband. I get fed up with people constantly telling me not to use iPad because of the blue light and not being restful but they have no idea except saying read a book.!!!

Is there something on your mind?

I’ve tried going to bed laying there for long time but just can’t get to sleep. So I’ve taken myself downstair, grabbed the iPad and wasting my time on the internet. It’s 3:50 am very dark and silent.

Ah, been awake since 2.20 am, so tired but really wound up after a stressful day. Even the relaxing sleep music that I will play sometimes isn't helping. Better warn husband (who is happily snoring his head off) that I am very grouchy when he gets up. Before I manage to start World War 3!

I have found if I wake up and Come dine with me is on I always fall asleep at the end and miss who wins, that then annoys me !
