Strike days are as follows:
From 00:01 GMT on Monday 2 December until 23:59 on Wednesday 11 December
From 00:01 on Friday 13 December until 23:59 on Tuesday 24 December
From 00:01 on Friday 27 December 2019 until 23:59 on 1 January
tis the season to share some misery
I try to avoid travelling by train or flying during December. Every year there seems to problems caused by strikes or bad weather. Twentyseven days does seem excessive and the strikers will effectively be losing a month's pay, which can't be fun. Hopefully, this will be called off.
Same here. I always try to avoid travelling during the festive periods and summer holidays as the strikes are guaranteed to happen. It must annoy the season ticket holders too - fancy paying for an annual pass and not being able to use it for almost a month?
Merry christmas from the rail workers, be lots more of this if labout and the unions get in.
