Does 400 Year Old Scottish Oak Voted Tree of the Year get your vote ?

Ask a Question

I didn't even know there was such a thing as a tree of the year award

Apparently the public decides on this award , but there must be millions upon millions of trees to vote for so to me it seems an impossible task

My fear is giving one particular tree this award and making it public you might then get some idiot damaging or destroying it as with The Sycamore Gap tree, which once stood in a dip next to Hadrian's Wall

Lets hope not as this looks to be a beautiful example

That is pretty picturesque, looks like something out of a fantasy or horror film.
