Wow. That's amazing! I thought I was doing quite well on over 280,000 points. I see you are a Deal and Voucher lister. I try to list a few deals every day. It's so tricky finding freebies these days. I won't list rubbish such as leaflets and brochures just for points. It has to be something of value.

I've been mooching about on here for a few years now too. It's a great community and there are lots of genuine Latest Dealers who are more than happy to help!

Keep up the great work and pop over for a chat on my page if you receive any freebies or comps: https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/chat/freebie-competition-success?page=126#recent

All the best.

Wow that is so amazing ! I don't think I'd ever have the patience to wait that long but I suppose it's so worth it bless

This is my 3rd week here and I'm just under 2,000 points.

Best wishes to all 🤗

I am heading to 270,000 and tbh it is quite easy to get over 2,200 per week just by posting 3 deals and liking 5 per day, less than half an hour with my morning coffee. Add 5 comments and it is nearer 3000 per week.

I personally only ever like genuine deals and will never like an Amazon or supermarket deal. Anyone can go on Amazon and most folk have a supermarket they regularly use so I don't think they would bother driving elsewhere to save 50p on an item.

I only 'like' deals that I would not have found myself and which represent at least a 20% saving.

Lynibis Amazon is my go-to for everything. I rarely shop anywhere else and save literally thousands of ££££s over years. I always check out other places, but I have to say Amazon is fantastic. Xx

Ceebers yes I must admit I buy an awful lot on Amazon and they always seem to have what you want. Recently I have bought gutter balls, rawl plugs, curtain hooks and replacement steam mop heads lol.

I'm on 126,000. I've been here almost 4 years but there was a period where I didn't post deals etc as didn't have time to look for them and was busy with other things. 400000 is a lot of points!

Congrats for that amount of points! I'm on 25k and I don't post religiously, just when I can find something I would buy for myself!

Wow! That’s some dedication... I took a break after I hit 50,000 for a few months, purely because 100,000 seemed too far away and I’m not long back.. already on 65,600 😌

I'm afraid I use this site as I think it should be used .

I post deals when I find what I consider a great deal (not any old dross to make my 3 a day as too many do ! ) . That probably adds up to 3 or 4 deals some days , sometimes none for several days .

Same with "liking" deals . I "like" what I consider a great deal and normally comment as to why I like the deal to help fellow members . TBH there are so many "non deals" posted (just for the points !) it can be very tedious scrolling through all the dross to find even 2 or 3 good deals in a day .

And yes I'm on chat from time to time when a subject interests me .

Shouldn't we all be using the site this way ? and wouldn't it be a better and more useful site if we all desisted in posting "non deals" just for the points ?

It would be more useful if the points were taken away for some things. I mentioned this a while back.

The freebie section is a mess with pointless brochures being posted. How is that a worthwhile freebie??? Plus the inane chat that we get on here every day stops me engaging except really on the page that I created for freebie and comp wins.

I do post daily and comment every day as it's fun and I get to speak to the peeps on my freebie page. We've built up a nice community.

Ceebers Yes a "freebie" should be defined as something of value not a firms catalogue , brochure etc . I think I've only ever posted a couple of "Freebies" which were 30 minute golf lessons at American Golf .

Ceebers I have to agree with you about the brochures - they've been done to death! I also stick to the friendly, less sanctimonious chats now.

angemski Agreed. Like I mentioned, this is a rare time that I comment on chats on here. I steer clear of controversy. I just can't be bothered with any haters out there. No time or passion for nonsense. Xx

Golfforall Amen sister. I have almost completely lost interest. The deals page is a waste of space. When I truly want to find a good deal for something and not just 10% vouchers off a clothing retailer or £1 shower gel, I go to that other site. It works for many people though and must be bringing in a good profit for the founders so good for them. Ceebers, while I agree it's probably less hassle to stay away from chats that involve criticism, that's all it is - criticism. If we didn't have that in the world, nothing would ever improve.

I don't give a monkey's about points to be honest.

I know that I can post absolute useless deals everyday, but I don't bother.

You see people here posting 3 deals from the same merchant and don't post any others because they don't get anymore points.

I love this site, but I'm not here for any gain.

TheChimp but unashamedly take 20 points for a long comment rather than a short for 5 🤣🤣🤣 sorry couldn’t resist.

Totally with you . If 100 points weren't given for any rubbish deal then the site wouldn't be totally swamped by "non deals" .

I like to look at the deals but its getting really tiresome scrolling through pages of dross deals .

The points system really must be changed ASAP as the odd decent deal gets totally lost in the avalanche of (anything for 100points ) non deals .
