5g and the Coronavirus
In the News

the conspiracy theories have been making the rounds, and when I first heard about the theory about 5g being responsible for coronavirus, I didn’t think anyone would pay attention to it...unfortunately, it has and some people have taken action
are you concerned about 5g? Were you concerned about 4g previously? And what about the launch of 6g?
They say
2003 - 3G introduced to the world
2003 - SARS outbreak
2009 - 4G introduced to the world
2009 - Swine flu outbreak
2020 - 5G introduced to the world
2020 - Coronavirus outbreak
You never know what to believe I was watching a video on YouTube about the street lights and the 5g they put in them
JaneWest Just to put this one to bed before people start believing this nonsense, 4G was first deployed in December 2009 where it was developed (in Sweden). Swine flu was around from January 2009. Conspiracy theorists rely on people not fact-checking and only looking at the surface. They take infomation and make it vague enough to look like there is some kind of corolation or pattern when actually, there isn't.
Well, if you lay it out like that...
...and they have said the clapping for the nhs is masking the sound tests they do for a minute each week...
Anybody who believes this needs that knock on the head seen to. A radio station has just been pulled up by OfCom because of a guest referring to this on air. Of all the conspiracy theories I've heard over the years, this is one of the least convincing.
I am sorry to be a thicko but could someone please explain what all this 3g 4g 5g is all about please. The original post does not explain at all and you can't always assume people know.
There’s some science behind it all, but as mentioned, the main difference you will notice about it is the difference in speeds. The controversy around it is based on the technology behind it, such as the radiation involved
Have you never seen the 3G or 4g on your phone? If not, you probably will now, amd you’ll notice the difference in speeds (if you have an older phone, they will operate with 2g)
one local council has installed 5G nodes on lamp posts, we should worry about all the new technology
Dennab I think we should be worried...Now the Scientific experts are telling you to limit putting your mobile phone up to your ear.. Its not Scaremongering, its speaking of the possibilities that's all
JulieAndre39773 No. You don't come online and tell people they "should be worried". Some are anxious enough at this time without unqualified opinions from the general public flying around. I'm not arguing people shouldn't be cautious but telling them they should be worried, no. Think before you type Julie, think.
5G may have it’s negative side effects but to say it’s the cause of coronavirus that’s just bizarre
The irony of all this concern over communications technology is the people setting 5G towers alight (yes that is happening) probably sleep within a foot of their phone at night. Morons. Let's leave the science to experts eh?
The original poster asked what are "your conspiracy theories" I just wrote what I had heard, I put....they said
Now what is coming out is......Ministers fear that coronavirus may have originated in a Chinese research lab and not a wet market in Wuhan, as widely suspected.
I bet you're one of the people who still say we went to the moon, and the camera film that was taken up there would still be in tact going through the radiation belt, never mind the astronauts would have died with radiation burns
JaneWest Do you think the world is flat? I could put money on the fact you've taken the whole COVID-19 rules and rewritten them to suit you as well. I bet you believe that theory that the government controls the weather with aircraft too. I won't even ask what your view is on 9/11.
PS. I have no idea what you believe regarding the moon because the grammar makes no sense.
JaneWest I have heard this so called conspiracy theory too. Really don't know what to believe, so much been hidden from us by the government. Look at the rise in people developing cancer, even in the space of 20 years. I myself have had cancer twice in my life, I'm 53 years old now. I had bowel cancer at the age of 29, so young then to be diagnosed with bowel cancer. Then 2 years ago, I had cancer of the womb, full hysterectomy.
2011 my sister passed away with cancer, which had spread very quickly to her brain, she was 47. 2016 my brother too passed away with cancer, he was 45.
I'm not saying that this is all connected to 3g 4g 5g, however, the amount of radiation emitted by wireless has got to be a contributing factor to the surge in cancer. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime...Why?
As for the Covid-19, I certainly don't believe it came from the wet markets in Wuhan in China. Something this big as the Coronavirus didn't come from a market place...
Why was this radio station put off-air? Maybe because some of what was said is a sore point!!
JulieAndre39773 Firstly, sorry to hear about your battle with cancer. I lost my Dad to it and my Mum had it a few years back but you've clearly had a much harder time. I was due to be running in Race For Life but unsure what's happening with that now.
Just to answer your question about why the cancer calculation is 1 in 2 now, it's quite simple. The way they calculate it has changed. Go to the Cancer Research website and it's all on there.
The radio station wasn't put off air. You have just demonstrated how facts are quickly changed and altered online and before you know it, everybody believes it. I said they were pulled up. They simply had a telling off because in the media, if an opinion is expressed on certain subjects, there must be a chance for someone to provide a counteracting argument. The community radio station broke that rule and will have to broadcast a statement from OfCom. It's got nothing to do with governments and conspiracy theories.
The problem is the majority of the World Wide Web is not regulated like the media so people can say what they like and others will just blindly believe it. By 'others' I won't name any names but I think you get the picture.
Dennab So sorry to hear about your Dad, such a horrid disease. I hope your Mum is well and staying positive.
I understand what your saying about the World Wide Web, it's just so difficult to see and understand why we all have to suffer such illnesses. Trying to understand the Whys, Whats, and Wheres!
The media hide a lot from the public, and that square box we call TV is full of fake news also.
I only hope we all come through this awful time in our lives at this moment, Thank you and Stay Safe everyone.
JulieAndre39773 My Mum is more concerned about receiving her Woman's Weekly at this time so that's a good sign. I did a bit of shopping for her last week so helping where I can. That's another discussion entirely with the whys, whats and wheres! Some people turn to their faith to answer those questions in life because it can be very unfair. Best wishes to you as well, take care.
I think most of the panic buying was to do with the media hyping everything up, my father in law died 12th February his course of death was COPD but was never tested for covid but we were lucky and got to bury him with family and friends. But I do think with all this technology we have today it causes health risks and lowers people’s immune systems, I remember when we first got our microwave when I was little, when they first came out we were told not to stand near it when it was in use, to this day I have never owned a microwave with my family.
I am quite lucky as my son in law works at a supermarket chain and brings items twice a week, which he has done for a few years as my partner and I are both disabled so times like this family is a god sent
