7 Year Old Girl Complains about "Sexist" Road Sign

So a 7 year old girl in New Zealand saw a sign that said "linemen" and she got offended, thus she sent a letter to NZ's Transport Agency and they're now changing it to "Lineworkers". This is kinda bizarre that a 7 year old would bother with stuff like this in her childhood though it seems like her parents might have pushed their agenda on her and this is the result.
When I was a kid, I can say that politics were something I didn't care about at all though back then I heard the term "colored" from a friend (who happened to be African and he told me not to use it but didn't say why) and no one really explained what that was about. It was odd back then to call people by "colored" and it still is, I don't even do it because it feels so ridiculous though there are those who love to be known as "PoC".
Y'know, this all feels a bit like Groundhog Day.
In stories like this I find it hard to believe it is real. Sounds like fake news brough to you by the establishment who are pushing an agenda. When I was 7, I was very into my little pony, not what road signs said.
