addictions ...........do you have any? I am a semi reformed shopaholic and am hoping to be fully cured in 2020 🤣 Also had a weird addiction to fruit juice and not so uncommon chocolate. I use to eat 12 bars a day!!!!!

Anyone else or am I just a disgusting vice laden sloth? 😊

Johnny careful you may get triggered into further PTSD (Pass The Stilton dear....?) from your 20 minutes of culinary sacrifice 😀 lets not ruminate on such things, a life without cheese on toast is not a life I wish to live....!

Sorry Im feelin Dairy dramatic today (boom boom....im here all week folks)

Energy drinks are my down fall! I've not touched one since Christmas day. They're so bad for you but i love them!

They really are bad for you, please don't drink them. They cause heart problems, highs and lows and rotten teeth. Your body will thank you for banning them and be grateful for a few days of lots of water.

I go through phases of obsessions, it drives my family mad at times. There was the creepy doll phase, the hundreds of shot glasses, currently fabric samples, shoes are a recurring issue. Food wise I am absolutely addicted to walkers ready salted crisps, Mars bars and Sainsburys jam doughnuts. Think I'm beyond redemption.

All addictions finally take a toll on your health ( be it mental or physical). I used to be same with chocolate, cakes, biscuits and had an obvious sugar addiction but 30/40 years ago we didn't have the info we do now and my body has rebelled and given me diabetes 2.

I gave up sugar immediately as it is amazing what a health scare can do for your willpower! I have managed to stay drug free with the help of the nurse I have seen for over 30 years but I struggle daily with carbs which are just as bad as sugar. I do not feel satisfied if I don't eat carbs but I continue the battle, some days winning, others losing.

Lynibis amazing I wish more people would help themselves as much as possible when living with conditions- would help the NHS etc and yes I realise this means preventing illness too so duly noted. Now considering if I can also quit sugar, not sure im strong enough

I’m addicted to caffeine and nicotine - gave up smoking cigarettes in 2015 but still use an e-cigarette now, I’ve managed to reduce the amount once before but after too much stress in my life it went back up..

sarahgreen15 honestly you have done a great thing just by quitting the cigs maybe look at just reducing the e cigs now? I was reading a BMJ article last week regarding the unknown implications of long term e cig usage and the truth is that it still causes health issues many of which are only coming to light - not to scare you but you come across as a really strong minded woman im sure you could handle the challenge xx

ps If you want to make a deal I will fully quit sugar if you half your e cig usage? No pressure we all have vices just offering friendly support should you want it- feel free to tell me to bugger off 😀

OneeyedRaven i appreciate that, but at the moment I’m on a strict diet (started New Year’s Day) and I’m so focused on that, but it makes me hangry a lot of the time and I fear if I cut down my nicotine too, I may kill my fiancé before i get to our wedding..... 🤣 nice idea though x

Crisps. I eat crisps every day. Terrible. I can't stop. That is my only addiction. Fat content is terrible. Ticking time bomb, I think.
