Question about freebies: is it possible?
Freebies
Can you possibly make 2 sections on the website?
Freebies which are completely free & 'freebies' which you have to spend something to receive i.e pay postage.
Spending £50 to receive a 'free' mini lipstick or whatever it is, is a gift with purchase - not a 'freebie'.
It is rather difficult finding out which are actual 'freebies' in the freebie category.
Hey DavidHartley we recently introduced a new guideline that only freebies (as in, completely free and not requiring any spend) should be shared as freebies and anything else should be shared as a deal.
If you spot one please report it and we'll move it across to the deals section
I'll also add a little note when sharing a freebie that, if it requires a spend, to share it as a deal instead. Hopefully that will help nip it in the bud before it even gets on the website
In some case it is better to spend a bit money, like the TEAREVV freebie, they always have free tea, but they charge full cost of delivery, more than £3.00, so if u order some tea and get the free one too, you better off and will pay less delivery.
I have noticed a few of these freebies with purchase creeping in. When I spot them I will try and notify the team to relocate them to the 'Deals' section'.
As of about 30 seconds ago mentors are now able to move posts between sections So if you spot one feel free to edit it and move it as a deal.
As an aside, mentors can update links now too. You'll find that sometimes a link is shared incorrectly but other times the system is messing it up. If it's the system please tag me and I'll try and get it sorted.
Just tagging yummyyetis AgnesFaludi nemosays SteveMate so they know too!
Hopefully it all works properly but shout if not.
That's the end of my hijack of this thread - I'm going to update the guidelines now to as I think they're missing the new rule on freebies
