Is it because we are still buying these for our grown up children, I know I buy one for my son who is 24 or is there a move towards not being left out
I got a Guinness one the other year and my fella got a baileys.
Last year we just got kitkat
I think maybe it's so that there's something for everyone. There's a good selection of Easter stuff aimed at younger children, so it makes sense to have a good selection aimed at adults too.
There has been a market for more adult orientated Easter Eggs for quite a while. Most of the artisan chocolate shops will sell them. With prices and flavours that make them more suitable for adults. Went out with an American lass many moons ago . No idea if its still the same now but back then she hadn't heard of Easter eggs . Considering all the excuses to spend money that we have imported from the USA that struck me as strange that they hadn't imported one from us ?
