What Would You Advise a Beginner to Find a Good Deal to Post?
Latest Deals
Hello, if you were to share your advice to a beginner on how to find a 'good deal' to post onto the website, and what is a 'good deal'? What might you suggest?
For example, my advice would be to stick with products you have a personal interest in, or buy a lot, as intuitively you will know what a good price is. Look for them online, compare prices and be sure it's the cheapest available from a reputable store.
This. I also tend to post deals I need to buy for myself and looked up a few places before until I made my decision.
Personally I don't look for deals to post. I just post deals that I find looking for something I'm interested in buying
Likewise . . . Although I occasionally find things from the same seller when looking . I always check any reviews if available. A thing at 50% off isn't much good if the price had been doubled to make it look a good deal or to get rid of stock that would never sell at the supposed RRP either, There are so many "iffy deals" that genuinely good deals are difficult to find amongst them.
When you find one to post, do a quick check on Google shopping for the exact product (Same brand, size etc) and just check if you can see it any cheaper on there as a final check before you post.
To add: it can save time and disappointment if they check to ensure that someone hasn't already posted it
Keep an eye out when you're online shopping/browsing for yourself and if you see something that is a good price and/or you would be happy to see on here, post that.
I always post things that are of interest to me. Normally find as I’m browsing and some websites I visit regularly as they have fab offers
If I wouldn’t buy it myself and don’t know anyone that would, I don’t post something. I always check it‘s the cheapest available too before I post.
I would agree to post items you personally are interested in or you think others may be, and items with good discounts, not small discounts
