Are Airport Lounges worth It?

Other

I have been thinking about whether or not to pay for this service, and it does seem that it can be worth it, depending on the airport

have you any experience? which sites do you use to book? or do you just do it when you get to the airport?

It depends... We went to lounge in Pakistan and it was nice. You can use net free and lots of food and also drinks, so u can relax before flight.

yes I am looking at the lounges in Asia and it does seem worth it, as you get more rest space, and if they give you free refreshments, it may save money as you don't want to waste it on the hiked up food prices at airports

I used one for the first time recently for my honeymoon. Obviously, I found a deal 😁

If you sign up for an American Express Gold card you get a free lounge card that gives you entry to 2 lounges per year.

The American Express card has a yearly fee but is free for the first year. So, I signed up - got my 2 free lounge passes - then cancelled the card 🎉

We flew from Gatwick and it was nice to get out of the chaos of the main airport and grab some breakfast. I'm not sure it would personally be worth it at full price unless you felt like treating yourself!

I had the gold card and at Gatwick we had £30 to spend at the grainstore instead of going to the lounge. anyone who has the passes on the lounge card can do it

Hi i used one in Manchester last October for the first time. If you normally have something to eat and a drink in the airport it's well worth the money. Very relaxed and help your self, it was breakfast time when we went . Plenty of choice hot and cold . Google airport discount codes and book as early as you can for a better deal. Enjoy 😀

ah yes there was a few times we were delightfully surprised by the free access to lounges when transitting, even with to our cattle class tickets (I think they were having slow days), and as cattle class passengers are, I usually go mental and tried to eat everything! I blame it on the fatigue and the cabin pressure 😜

I have read some are not worth it at all, especially when it’s busy, as you won’t have much space to relax. Guess it’s always good when you get a more exclusive pass

I didn't book online for the lounges at Heathrow and it was full when I turned up, so those that have one book in advance. AMEX Gold card definitely the way to go for FREE!
