Aldis is about to Start Selling Six Litre Bottle of Prosecco
News
While it might Italian there's no denying that prosecco the tipple of choice for most of us bits.
And things are about to get a whole more exciting as Aldi have just announced that they're set to sell a super - size six litre bottle of the stuff
The bottle in question is Aldi £79.99 grotti spumante prosecco Methuselah which is equivalent to eight regular size bottles and is packed with enough fizz to fill a whopping 64 glasses so don't try finish it all by yourself anytime soon.
I will just keep to a normal bottle of prosecco. I can see it selling fast for christmas. What do you make of it.
I think Aldi booze is pretty good quality, so I have high hopes for their Prosecco. Nothing like a bit of booze when you are celebrating.
Considering you could probably get a single bottle for less than £7 in places like Aldi, Lidl etc. that is pretty expensive for the equivalent of 8 bottles. However, I am a boring teetotaller, practically, so it is neither here nor there for me! If I do have the odd tipple (Christmas, birthday) it would be a Baileys, Kahlua, Amaretto or might even go for Vodka but have gone off Coca Cola last few years so nothing else I would like as a mixer. Don't like wine and white gives me a terrible headache and realise after years that when I eat grapes I get an awful headache so...........................
The Aldi prosecco is very nice. My best mate bought some for my hen party 3 years ago and it was lovely. I don't drink, perhaps a glass at Christmas or New Year but that is it. I wouldn't buy a bottle that big as it would go to waste in our house. I would have to invite the whole family round, along with a number of frieds to get that finished!
I like the Aldi prosecco and might buy this as it's a fun idea; albeit a bit gimmicky - only if I had the numbers and knew it was going to get finished though!
Although I will probably stick to my normal bottle too I have to say it does sound amazing! I feel like I need to have it at least once in my life Not sure if I fit that bottle into my fridge
