Amazon Prime Film Recommendations?
Ask a Question
Anyone watched anything good on amazon prime films normally always watch Netflix need a good film to watch
I recently watched 'Jolt' with Kate Beckinsale, suffering with anger management. It nipped along at a good pace with some twists. I have watched a lot worse.
I would watch anything with Gerard Butler! The closest I have got is sitting on the bridge he and Hilary Swank met on in P.S. I LOVE YOU
Yes, I agree. It was very watchable for an 'end of the world' film so I would also recommend it.
If you like Chris Pratt then give The Tomorrow War a go. He's drafted to fight in the future to save the world - no change there then, but it had a few 'jump scare' moments.
sunny101 we watched this and it was surprisingly good, but we did have low expectations.
snoogans888 Yeah! I have to agree that I wasn't expecting much but as the story unfolded I was rooting from the main characters to survive.
The Tomorrow War is definitely worth a watch. Chris Pratt has acted in a few films that I've enjoyed and watched more than once but one of better ones is Passengers. If I had the opportunity to live the rest of my life on that spaceship I'd seriously give it some thought.
I gave up with Prime films after winning a trial of Netflix - I found prime difficult to search ... you've reminded me tho that it might be worth trying again as I'm a Prime member and we just put our Netflix on hold for a while.
kate1310 before I won the Β£20 trial I couldn't understand why folk 'wasted' money on subscription services .... now I know and I love that you can pause payment so easily. We just finished Breaking Bad and the Better call Saul .... I paused payment and for the remaining time we're watching other bits. Then we'll watch what we recorded off BBC etc ...then come the Autumn, back to binge on Netflix ... brilliant!
kate1310 My family despair of me with my deal hunting etc etc but the upside is that we're having our first ever 'proper kitchen' put in rather than our usual DIY jobs and I reckon it's cos I've saved us a bomb...... well that's what I'm telling myself when I get twinges of conscience, anyhow
I know they're not new films, but they were new to me, I watched Ocean's Eleven a few nights ago then Ocean's Twelve last night, Oceans Thirteen awaits. Enjoyed the first two. They're all free to view to prime members.
davidstockport I have watched all them they were all brilliant especially because Brad pitt and George Clooney were in them have you seen the new one with the women
kate1310 I don't think I've seen it - if you like comedy the series "Count Arthur Strong" is good. The first two series are free to watch but the third series (which I haven't watched) has to be rented.
It might take some a few half hour episodes to "get in to" but there's one in second series, where he takes a flying lesson, that is really hilarious.
kate1310 I watched the first two series a few months ago, was disappointed to find I'd have to pay to watch the third. (so I didn't ) Just hope it becomes free to watch eventually... Amazon have got enough of my money.
kate1310 and davidstockport .... great ..... I think we'll watch 13 ..... I know we enjoyed the others ...may have to re-watch as I can't remember them!
davidstockport .... treated ourselves to fish and chips and just watching Oceans 11 .... before watching the next 2 over the next couple of nights..... easy enough watching and a bit of fun! Thanks
Not an actual film but I found the short series "The Mill" which was set quite near where I live good viewing. I watched the first series in one night - I watched the second series on another night. (I preferred the first series but both were good).
Both series free to view to prime members.
davidstockport ... I just googled ....That looks good ...I enjoy learning a bit as well as being entertained so that's on our 'post Netflix' list too thanks.
davidstockport just had a wee look at that thats my kind of program I love period drama programmes that looks really interesting
davidstockport never seen it i will add that to my list I have a great selection now thank you
