Amazon Prime Expected to Bid for Six Nations TV

In the News

Amazon are set to challenge for broadcasting rights to the Six Nations after breaking new ground by screening the Autumn Nations Cup competition.

England rugby chief Bill Sweeney confirmed the likely Amazon Prime move which could see some games in rugby's most popular competition - including Wales matches - going behind a paywall.

Interesting.

I have Prime, so it wouldn't affect me, but I don't think that it should go behind a paywall. It seems that we have to pay for everything these days. Just look at the rip-off that is Britbox. We've already paid for those programmes either through the license fee or having to watch adverts.

Another thing is that some people have a problem with Prime buffering all the time. It happened to a family member when the recent rugby games were on and it was unwatchable.

TheChimp Brit box big con. Don’t agree with paying for repeats. I never had problem with prime buffering maybe that’s due to individual internet speeds. I have bt and if buffering or no internet then they refund £100. I don’t watch rugby or sports so not going to effect me

I have Amazon Prime Video, but normally I wouldn't pay extra to watch any sport.
