Is Amazon Prime worth It?

Other

I'm coming close to the end of my Amazon Prime free trial, and would love everybody's feedback on if it is worth paying for or not. From my experience, it's been great. What does everybody else think?

I think its great for £7.99 a month we would probably spend more than that on delivery fees in a month if we didnt have it. My wife and I use the household feature so we both get all the prime benefits for only one payment. We use kindles so have a variety if prime books to read, we use alexa and our phones for music and we use prime video sometimes.

I think it's great, we buy things from amazon at least once week and use prime video and prime music pretty much every day. I have a student membership though which makes it a bit cheaper. You could wait until Black Friday as they might have discounted membership.

Personally, I really love it. You have to ask yourself 'How many times have I ordered from Amazon since I had the trial?' How many series or films have I watched?' 'Do I read enough to make the downloads worthwhile?' If you've made the most of the trial which facilities could you do away with?

I don't think I could cancel it as I'm too used to free next day prime delivery etc. It definitely makes life easier!

I think it is worth it but I'm on the student deal one. I use it to buy things cheap (using vipon) and selling them on for more. I always make more than the value of prime so I don't mind paying for it.

I will have the student one as well, so I will have it cheaper too. Definitely worth it.

Before I was a Prime member, I never paid postage - I always waited until I had £20 of stuff to buy. Never thought it would be worth it for postage since I never paid it anyway. But that was before my deal hunting days...

Now it's pretty essential really, as some deals are time sensitive and can't wait until you have other stuff to buy. I have the student version for now, but when that runs out, I'll share standard Prime with someone to save money.

amazon prime is perfect if you order a lot as you can get the next day delivery although this doesnt include for amazon pantry you need to add 4 qualifying items for free delivery. in my opinion amazon prime for movies isn't the best but isn't bad seeing as its included with the free delivery.

I guess it depends if you think £7.99 is worth the free delivery on all Prime items, the movie/tv service, the music service, the free ebook each month, free photo cloud storage, try before you buy with Prime Wardrobe, Amazon Pantry discounts (not seem to be worth it for me), 30 minute early access to Lightning Deals and Prime Twitch if watching others play computer games is your thing. Oh and you can give most if not all these benefits to another adult in your house for free too. Don't forget the ability to utilise firestick and echo devices to their potential if you like them. I have been using prime for years and it is quite good.

been using prime since the beginning and IMO it keeps getting better, dont think i could cope without the free next day delivery on all those little things you need asap, i use subscribe and save, amazon pantry, kindle, firestick etc and the other half shares my account so yes i think its well worth it, i order regularly from Amazon and since i joined here i order a lot more deals 🙂

Only if you buy a lot from Amazon. The streaming video service isn't great compared to Netflix.
