Amazon Now Sending out Free Samples to Users Based on Their Buying Habits

Do you believe this is a attempt to gain more personal information from us?
Some of the products Amazon lists as being eligible for free samples include dog food, groceries, beauty products and health supplements. In other words: Items you would buy repeatedly. It’s easy to see why brands would pay to be a part of this program, especially if they are able to convince shoppers to go with their dog food or coffee over a brand they have been loyal to when shopping on Amazon in the past.
Amazon has lots of trick up hurt sleeve to attract new customers and keep loyal customers.
Well other companies will pay Amazon to join the programme where they can send samples to other customers to promote their products
I think other companies giving out the samples could gain access to our data such as name and address
zerocenturyzero Can you show me a screenshot so I can check my UK account as well. Thanks so much!

How to opt in -- or out -- of Amazon's free sample program
Amazon in the UK tried this... Mostly they give the money back. So u buy a product sample and get credit what comes off when u purchase the full size.
The sample program is different in the USA
Great news I opted in. Does anyone know if I'll get dispatch emails since I'm not always in?
