Amazon Subscribe & Save
Ask a Question
I’ve never taken out a subscribe and save product. Please can you answer a couple of questions please?
- Do you know the exact cost when the the item is next delivered
- Are you committed for a year or can you cancel at any time
Pam you can cancel anything at any time, if you get an extra discount for the first order and then cancell they will charge you the extra I think but otherwise,if you only want an item once and it's on sub and save it's worthwhile, you can cancel or reschedule
You can alter the time ,how often you want it too, from every week or two up to six months or maybe four and everything in-between, or just skip a delivery if you have more than expected left.
Yes you will be emailed on up coming delivery and can cancel if price is higher then expected.
The price thing...I believe it can alter but it will be there listed ,and if you check on it before they send it out you could stop it that time, they email when it's about three or four days before the delivery and tell you the last day you can alter it.
I have gone in for many items that are a good price and up to date been lucky they don't seem to alter as much as the one off prices?
Thanks for all your replies. I was hoping the price stays the same especially if on an offer.
Thank you. Silly me couldn’t find instructions on the Amazon site when I was looking at the Yorkshire tea bags I’ll read this before I order.
Pjran not always easy to find, took me months to work out how it worked ,more or less as went along!
It would be great if the price fixed for a period, still a great way to get free delivery and a discount without prime, just remember to cancel after your delivery.
Howmuch you don't need Prime for sub and save I would not pay for that as not going to use video etc
I have taken out save and subscribe, you normally get between 5% to 20% Off depending on how many items you have on save & subscribe. You can skip a delivery & cancel at anytime.
I use S&S a lot and have a collection of 14 items all on subscription. They email you a few days before to let you know when you need to confirm by - and usually show you the current price you will pay - and usually the price you paid last time. This last month I had three items which went down in price and 1 which went up a bit. I usually take between 6 and 8 items a month each of which I save the 15% on, and quite often the first time you subscribe you can get good discounts on top of that too. Just make sure you keep on top of it and if you get at least 4 items a month you usually unlock 15% savings which do make a big difference. My top saving this month was 120 pouches of Felix cat food which is currently on sale at £41.31 - I paid £24.67. Next time it will probably be about £35.
Pjran The key as always with Amazon is just to keep a really close eye on the prices, ideally with a price tracker so you can see the price history of an item to see if its a good deal or not
didbygraham thank you for taking the time to comment. Can you point me in the right direction for a good price tracker? I’ve only heard of camel camel.
