Amazon Are Working with Government Delivering Test

Other

The Government has asked Amazon to partner with them - alongside other retailers, life science companies and academic institutions - to aid in the fast-track of testing for the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

I will I’ll say the drivers have been so helpful delivering goods to customers keeping distance etc

Yes, I read this yesterday and there was another article today indicating that they would be available soon with a guesstimated price of £6 to make it possible for everyone to test. Fingers crossed it's soon.

It makes sense. Especially if we can find out whos had the virus, recovered & are now safe to return back to work etc it could then be the beginning of getting back to normal but it still depends on many aspects one there being enough tests. I'd certainly not argue a price tag of £6.00 if that's correct.

They really should be sending them out for free. Instead, Boris is wasting money sending out letters to everyone...?

MeestairChrees I thought exactly the same about wasting money on letters 5.5 million plus last week letters to people with medical conditions that money could have gone straight to nhs

I thought exactly the same about the cost of the letter sending but you have to consider the minority of people who would not bother to test and flog it on at an exorbitant price. Sad times/selfish people.

Is it a test which shows if u have the virus? Or it is the antibody test?

AgnesFaludi I think it's a antibody test to get people back into work

It makes me mad because these tests have been available since the beginning of March. They are made in Derby, they are sent around the world, and the government have only just decided to do it.

They cost £6. No lab costs. 98.7% accurate, that was their argument...better than 0%.

Only 3 people have died from Covid-19 in the UK, who had no other health issues. Like seriously... What is going on?!
