I believe over vaccination is a thing and can be deadly to the dog. We have bloods done for our dog to see when she needs it or if she had to go into kennels then she needs proof of being up to date.

That's a really good idea actually! I may see about doing this!

My dog had his initial puppy vaccinations & one or two boosters afterwards, but that's not. I dont believe they are really necessary.

See a lot of people I've spoke to since tell me this, now I'm debating if I'm doing the right thing by doing it yearly

All my dogs were vaccinated as puppies and joined my local vets scheme, Vacs for life. It cost £99 and every booster is now paid for. It’s a great feeling visiting the vet and walking out without having to pay any more.

I vaccinated all my pets. There are lots of things they can catch which can kill them which is prevented by the vaccine.

See this is why I do mine but a lot of people surprisingly don't, then I hear bad stories about the ones that do have them yearly.

I do mine yearly so I was intrigued to how many people actually don't

I’m surprised to hear some don’t. I guess it’s like the people that don’t vaccinate kids.

The thing is there is lots of proof vaccinating an animal is good and prevents them getting numerous illnesses.

Of course they can still get sick and die but not by the ones that the vaccinate vaccinates against. Without they can also spread it to other animals and some which I can’t remember can be passed onto humans!

There is vac4life with vets4pets or companion care at £99 which is for life. Even without that it’s worth the once annual fee

I had a dog that got yearly vaccinated . And he got ill and die. He got something which the vaccinated should have cover him. But it did not. It was like a flu . Now have a another dog and she never been vaccinated . She very fit and healthy all the time I've had her she has only been to the vets a few Times. Just for a check up. The vets are very happy with her. But they do try and get me to vaccinated her. But it's just the money they want. In the old days you near got your dog vaccinated. It was near hear off. 🐕🐕🐕🐕

Its irresponsible to not vaccinate them you are then risking other dogs who come in contact.

Dont have a pet if you cant afford to look after it, get a goldfish !

We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and all are fully vaccinated. I moan about the costs but I would never forgive myself if one of them became ill because they hadn't received their vaccinations.
