Has Anybody Had Any Issues with PayPal Not Paying out Their 1p Friends Referral

I was talking to a few friends on Facebook today and it came to light one of them was having an issue with PayPal. They had referred one of their friends to Paypal by sending them 1p through PayPal and then the person you send the 1p to has to spend £5 after which both parties get £10 each, great deal but unfortunately the friend said her friend was given the £10 but they refused her the £10 saying the reason was because they did not think her account was in good standing. She has only had the account a couple of months but in that time she tells me she has used the account at least 15 times, and her bank account was linked up to PayPal so I was quite shocked but she said when she looked into it further for example on "Reddit' there were loads of people going through the same complaint.. I was just interested to see what you guys and girls thought and if anyone else was having the same issue.. 
Yes! I referred someone on the 1st November and they made a payment either the same or the next day, and we haven’t received anything.
PhilipMarc thank you will give that a try, might leave it a few more days as I don’t really know how long it’s supposed to take, but will contact them if still nothing in a few days
They are apparently gIving upto January 2021 for your payment to be processed, IF you qualify!!! lornaae

that’s a long time, perhaps if I message them they can put it through a bit sooner than that
