Has anyone every published their own book? I know some friends who have but has anyone had any success going down this route?

Yes, I have. Some were photography books back when I used to do photography and others were poetry way back when I used to write that. I can't say that any were a success in terms of being sold but yes, the books were good quality and I was happy with these that I designed myself using the log in software on the site. It must have been over 10 years ago I did that. Gave some people these as gifts. I think the site was called blurb. I might be wrong. Long time ago now.
