poetry is so under rated and there is a lot out there all of varying types. I love Seamus Heany and WB Yeats and John Donne and lots of others. what about you
My favourite (remembered from school days) is: What Tomas an Buile Said in a Pub. Author hard to verify but translated from Irish by James Stephens.
Poetry is something I've always struggled to to get into. I've read all the beat poets, Ted Hughes, Philip Larkin, etc. I've read a decent amount by many different poets and it just doesn't move me, yet I feel it is something I should really like. An older man was trying to impress me in 2018 by reading Pablo Neruda to me. His love poems were probably the best I've heard. Saying that the world of poetry seems so far removed from daily life, for eg, I've spent the morning cleaning the oven and the fish tank. 
There's not exactly a lot of romance or time for deep relaxing in my daily life.
Just read it, very good and at least it made sense. I am not a poetry buff but some poetry I just don't get.........thick I suppose!
