Anyone Reclaimed Their PPI

Yep, I think all told I've received back a couple of thousand.

Definitely worth doing if you think you've been mis-sold, just don't use any of these companies that say they will do it all for you, they will take a hefty percentage.

I'm using a company at the moment . I had tried to do it myself and you can find templates to do it on the Martin Lewis website but some of the store cards/credit cards I'd had don't exist anymore and I wasn't getting anywhere trying to find out who to contact . Yeah they do take a percentage but I see it as money I've never had and might not get anyway without their help because of the above .

Obviously at my age I have been through a fair few hp, loans, mortgage, credit cards etc etc. So, I thought I would give it a go as they all say they will do the work for you and give you the chat about getting thousands back. One wanted 35% commission but I said no and got them down to 25% (make sure you haggle), but after giving them all my details, previous names and addresses, companies I had done business with etc they kept asking for paperwork which they initially said they did not need. Needless to say after 40 odd years I do not have any paperwork so gave it all up as a bad job.
