Anyone Have a Solution for Freezer Labelling?

Other

I do lots of bulk cooking and freeze single portions, either in Pyrex dishes with plastic lids or all plastic container and lid.

I have never found a reliable pen but tbh I don't want to write all over the lids. I have used labels but they constantly fall off and I find them floating around the freezer unable to match with the dish. I need reliable labelling so I use oldest stock first......any ideas?

Colour lids maybe instead. My inlaws use cellotape on their lids.

I have tried cellotape but it crisps up and breaks. My containers are either clear plastic (body and lid) and I have 6 small square Pyrex dishes and they all have yellow lids. Different colours would be good for food types but not dates. Someone should invent freezer proof labels, maybe I will search Amazon for that, they seem to sell everything lol.

Apologies everyone, I would not have started this topic had I realised I could find them so easily.

If anyone else has same problem as me this is where I found them and they seem ideal.

Hey I know this isn't quite what you're looking for, but some sandwich bags have white spaces on them for you to write on: https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/deals/120-zip-lock-food-bags-half-price-prime-delivery--amazon
