Anyone Started Their Christmas Shopping Yet?

Other

I can't believe we're on the verge of August already. Around the middle of the month we really begin to notice the nights drawing in earlier and earlier. And you know what this means? It means that we are getting closer and closer to yet another Christmas. And no doubt that there will be plenty of Christmas related comps/deals and freebies too. 🙂

Anyway, as my budget is tight, I like to start my Christmas shopping relatively early in the year. I have already started getting in bits of food much earlier in the year and will next week be starting on the pressies, around 2 pressies a month.

But I am finding there are not much in the sales. That are worth it. I can knit so I was thing I might knit some jumpers .And I can sew a make things. My food shop I start the end of August. What I do is I add one or two items to my shopping list. I find this helps me.

I love a handmade knitted jumper! My granny and mother in law both knit and I love seeing what they create and knowing the time and effort that has gone into it. Plus I think it makes the present much more special!

Haven't bought anything yet, but I know exactly what I am buying my granny, mother in law and my parents and how much it will cost. We aren't spending as much this Christmas on presents.

I'm sniffing around the Argos 3 for 2 TOY SALE that's just started, to get some early Christmas and birthday presents. It's handy that it's a mix and match toy deal and includes bikes and scooters, cheapest item free

I started mine in April 😂 I make my list in March then pick up bits and pieces throughout the year. I’m always finished by November and can enjoy Christmas.

it also helps me budget. I’m a student and I live alone, so I can’t afford to buy everything last minute- especially as I have 3 nieces and nephews with December birthdays too.
