Anyone Watch the Sister? Such a Disappointment
Other
I persevered with 3 episodes thinking the end would justify my patience but what a let down!
I picked holes in final episode but please do tell me if I am wrong, I won't be offended lol.
How come the ambulance crew had to break in if Nathan had supposedly just gone round and found his friend indisposed. Surely the door would be ajar or unlocked. Also if they knew the 999 call was made from Bob's phone how come they missed all their previous texts and calls to each other, many of them that night.
Shock horror Bob is still alive in hospital but fast forward several months and Nathan and Molly's baby has arrived, did Bob die? Was it mentioned and I missed it?
Finally, as it had transpired that Bob not Nathan had killed Elise why was her ghost sitting in the back of Nathan's car? I would think Bob's ghost would have been more appropriate, haunting his killer!
The first couple of episodes were really intriguing, but yeah it really went downhill after that.
I had great expectations as it was written by Neil Cross, who wrote Luther. I watched it with my husband, we thought that there must be a twist, maybe she wasn't dead or the sister knew and was setting him up. So, imagine our disappointment at the ending.
I wish I weren't so picky about what I watch. Just seen the first pilot episode of Gotham on Netflix and a pearl necklace was broken and beads everywhere when stolen. Next time we see it it's whole again!
I saw this topic earlier on Monday but hadn’t watched the final episode. The program was good up until the last one. Can’t find a link to why the Elises head was in the car???
Exactly. Would have made far more sense if it had been Bob in the car haunting his killer. Or was he dead? I didn't see or hear anyone mention he had died in hospital. Maybe the forced overdose made him comatose and vegetative.
Have watched the lead character in a few comedy shows and found it inpossible to take him seriously
If you mean Russell Tovey, I must admit I have seen him in more serious roles than comedic. On a positive note I felt the series was well acted just a rubbish story and could have been much better.
Started off alright and liked the woods setting but at end of it wished I hadn't bothered.
