App for Latest Deals ?

Good point, I would love to see an Android latestdeals app or a frontend to the website. Would probably help bring in more viewers and allow people to engage faster on the move.

We don't have an LD app yet - however, we do have a Black Friday app that lists all the deals featured on the site - latestdeals.co.uk/black-friday-app and, despite the name, it works all-year round!

A fully-fledged app with the ability to like, comment, share, etc is a definite on our to-do list

The like system came about from the community. The general consensus was that people wanted a positive system that didn't suffer from "unfair" downvotes without any rationale. "Likes" are something people are naturally familiar with from other social media and we figured comments were a better place for constructive criticism of a deal (rather than an anonymous downvote). The idea is with comments the original poster will understand why their deal might not be getting any likes and anyone considering buying the deal would be more informed.

Would be great to hear from both you and jakemoss any features you feel are lacking from the website that you think you'd need an app for. We definitely plan to have an app but if there's a short-term quick fix we can make to the website to improve things I'd be keen to have a stab at it!
