Artificial Grass

We haven't used artificial grass but our neighbour had it. He still needed to disinfect it periodically as it attracts algae/mould etc. so I don't think it's as good as it's cracked up to be.

I would love it as my garden has no drainage so tends to become a swamp. I am wary about how hot it gets in the heat as i've heard some dogs have had their paws burnt on it.

I have artificial grass and love it, no mowing or weeds (thanks to umpteen layers of weed control fabric) I have walked barefoot on it when we had the heatwave (distant memory) and although it was warmer than grass it wasn't unbearable. I did mine myself with just the rolls from Morrisons and it was so quick and easy, never had any problems with it in the 3 years since I did it

I dislike artificial grass so much. I dont think it looks very nice or particularly realistic. Its not good for our wildlife either.
