Autumn/Winter. What Do You Enjoy Most About Them?

It's autumn, the weather's getting colder and it'll be winter soon.

What do you enjoy about them?

I like lighting the log burner on a cold night, but I think that the best thing is that I can just grab a bottle of white from the garage and it'll be cold enough to drink. More room in the fridge for all my other rubbish then

My favourite thing about Autumn and Winter is the weather. I dislike the hot weather, so I'm always looking forward to Autumn, to the cooler days, the rain.

angelik I'm the same.

I really can't cope with the temperature much above 22°C, so I didn't really like the hot weather that we had this year.

I used to love the heat when I was younger. Maybe I've just become an old fart.

TheChimp I've never liked the hot weather, never will. I know a lot of people enjoy it but it's always just made me feel uncomfortable. I love being bundled up in cosy jumpers, going for long walks and feeling the cold air on my face, etc. I'm always happy when Autumn begins.

I don't understand why so many people seem to love 30°C temps and sweating like a pig all day. Around 22°C on a sunny day is all that is needed during the summer. But perhaps we are all turning into old farts.

I love this time of the year though. I love the more active weather, the autumnal colours and it's overall a more peaceful atmosphere.

Nadiaparveen I'm not too sure about the that.

We have a neighbour who has a massive tree across the road and all the leaves come across to our drive and block our drains.

Not happy, but that's nature, I suppose.

I love loads about winter. Chilly walks in the woods where you wrap up in scarves and gloves and hats. Nights in with a hot chocolate and a good movie/series. Roast dinners (I dont really have many during summer). Christmas. Loads!

I like the colours of the trees and the fallen leaves. I only like the wither if there’s snow. Otherwise, I’m just waiting for it to pass

I love grabbing a big jumper, making a hot chocolate and snuggling down to read a good book on especially rainy days in Autumn. When it is drier, I love to go for country walks and walk through piles of scrunchy leaves. Xx

I like winter when its snowing,as usually I am going to see my parent abroad, love when its snowing you are at home watching the snow, drinking mulled wine,have gingerbread biscuits ,oranges ❤

NatalyKroxa Oh yeah, I do like a bit of mulled wine in the winter months.

And my wife likes a bit of Stollen which you can only get around Xmas.
