12-Week Baby Scan Pictures Reveal The Gender Based On The Head Shape

Ask a Question

I have read a article today

about people been able to tell the gender of there baby at 12 weeks on there scan picture just

By looking at the shape of the baby's head.

Do you think you could tell just by looking at the baby's head on a scan pic ?

I don’t think so I would not like to say what gender it is just by looking at the head can you imagine if they bought everything in blue and it was a girl, I think that they should just wait until you can tell from the scan properly

I don't think you can tell by the shape of the head. Every baby develops differently, the shape of their head is not an indication of the baby's sex.

Wouldnt it just be easier to wait until your 20 week scan and check inbetween their legs, or just be happy you have a healthy child regardless of gender. How can u even guess a child gender based on their head shape. What if a child identifies as non binary would you be able to tell based on the shape of their head? Sounds daft to me

It’s not a surprise if you find out gender before born babies should be in white for first few weeks anyway

Personally I never wanted to know the sex, there wasn't anything you could do about it. What do you do if it's not the sex you want, not bond? Have a surprise, just decorate/buy neutral colours.

I had DNA testing done at 10 weeks to screen for chromosomal abnormalities and also found out the sex that way. I wouldn't bother with any way of finding out the sex that didn't have very high accuracy. I've heard about the skull theory but I think the nub theory is a more accurate predictor.
