Where To Buy Baby Stuff

Other

Hi guys..

I am expecting my first baby and I am almost 7 months.

I know I need to get a lot of stuff, but I dont even know where to start in regards to baby stuff.

What shops / online stores do you recommend for baby stuff?

Regards

Andrea

I recommend marketplace on Facebook as people give things for free or cheap. H&M has nice things as well.

I would definitely look at fb marketplace. Lots of stuff on there that either really cheap or free. I got loads of my baby stuff there and I have sold loads of baby stuff there too.

In terms of stores my go to is always Asda! Lots of stuff that is really reasonably priced.

AndreaAndzic babies can be so expensive so anything that can help save money is a bonus. Plus most things, especially clothes are like new.

AndreaAndzic the majority of stuff I bought/buy for my son is 2nd hand, with the exception of car seats and his pram as his great Granny bought that for him.

We got quite a bit of stuff from online4baby. We found their prices to be really reasonable. Good luck with it all. I had a baby in May and although it's a bit weird with the pandemic you will be well looked after

Online 4 baby have a black Friday sale on at the moment. Search on deals for the link and some codes. I have a car seat from them, no issues with their service.

Depending on what area you live in you can find alot of stuff on Freecycle. However at the moment because of lockdown some areas have suspended posting. Saying that nearby towns may not have have suspended posts.

Congratulations. It’s so exciting with your first but don’t be too proud to accept friends old baby bits. Babies grow so quickly and never wear out of clothes just grow out. You planned it right as there will be lots of sales soon and can pick up bargains in JL, Sainsbury’s and M&S.

Thank you so much! No, i will not.

You are right. It is not easy to find good stuff that dont cost to much. Why are baby cloths so much more expensive than adults???

You could make an amazon baby wish list for family and friends

Oilo might have some free baby things in your local area. They grow out of things so quick as babies

Congratulations AndreaAndzic!

I wouldn’t buy too many baby clothes as you will probably receive some as gifts and you can find great bargains on Marketplace and Gumtree, as others have said. The only new items you really need are a cot mattress and a car seat. Everything else can be picked up much cheaper second hand.

You are right. My family are in Sweden and Germany and they are all sending packages already.

I am planning to get travel set from online4baby. That way I get all I need.

Going to Primark to get newborn things if they open and that is it.

thanks for all support.
