Balcony Barbecues - Are They Safe?

Ask a Question

I’ve seen quite a few of those hanging barbecue grills on sale, but I don’t believe they're safe, especially if the components that prop it up may melt. However, with some people who don't have a garden and are still afraid to go out, I guess having a barbecue brings them a bit of joy

Have you got one? If so, have you had any issues?

I saw in the paper that amazon have stated they’ve removed them from sale, which I guess was a result of complaints. I can’t imagine them being safe at all

I’m pretty sure that lighting a BBQ on a balcony is breaking your lease as it’s deemed dangerous.

Yes one would think so, although in the previous weeks of lockdown, there’s been a lot of people having balcony barbecues that made me think otherwise
