Bargain Brits on Tv

Ask a Question

Anyone else been watching Bargain Brits on channel 5 ? I can understand getting a bargain but one woman has stocked a whole room up with toilet rolls, shampoo, hand sanitizer, shower gel, de-icer, cat food and the list goes on. The problem is she keeps stocking up and thinks she is saving. She spent nearly £100 in one shopping spree. Not sure what she actually eats and if she has any money left to buy food!

I’m not in that league but I do have a bit of a stash from cashback purchases. Every now and then I go through them and find out what needs using. At the moment I am using up stocks as I am not shopping much.

That’s fair enough but this woman was continually buying, I think she had an addiction.

eyeballkerry I can understand how it becomes an obsession but nothing is really a bargain if it isn’t going to get used.

I think it must be a compulsion, I have seen Extreme Couponing, US TV show and they have entire rooms full of free stuff, my favourite were the ones who did it go give to food banks etc. I will look out for this programme as it seems just my thing 🙂

i agree it is great when people give the items they do not need to food banks instead of sitting in the basement for years
