couldnt believe it when I saw it - 5p for a tub of olives from the deli counter at M&S
I was going to chance it by asking if I could pay the original price... 
Hi hspexy that was very good bargain. You was at the right place at the right time. I've never tasted olives. What are they like and what can you do with them. I've heared they are good for you. In joy them. 
Hi nicolajaynehend they're an acquired taste, a savoury food item, perhaps considered in the umami side of the palate (like sushi and seaweed). They are good for you, the oils are good for the functioning of the heart. I recommend them 
How fab, I love Olives but my husband thinks they are the devils food and cant stand them. Bit like marmite i think you either love them or hate them. Well done :-)
I agree. Mind you, my partner used to hate them, he thought they tasted vile, but now he quite happily eats them - doesn’t love them, but he no longer feels the need to spit them out (which is great as I do love a generous topping of olives on my pizzas!)
