BBC to Put Lessons on TV

In the News

I think anything that will help parents to home school is a good thing. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-55552962

This is brilliant, my kids will love thinking that they don’t have to sit and do schoolwork at the desk but learning while watching tv 🀩

That makes so much sense to at last use the good old Beeb for school. ☺️

I think its a good thing and its good to see BBC putting something on maybe worth watching πŸ˜‚. Wonder how some people will cope with no homes under the hammerπŸ˜‚

Well it's about time! The government could have done this from the beginning....set up a channel specifically for learning.

a rather marvellous idea. I must say that since the first lockdown, my lads school have upped their game and he is now attending a video link in (8:55am) and the school will follow that up throughout the day, so this time round there won't be as much time for such pursuits as fortnight et al πŸ˜…πŸ‘

For Β£157.50 they ought to provide the absolute best service, but it's the BBC. Expecting the best service is like saying CNN to present real news. πŸ˜‚

Reception/Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 .... I used to use BBC school programmes to help me to teach History, Geography, Science, Numeracy and Phonics .... they could show children images I could never manage ... particularly before computers were so widespread. The quality and content proved excellent and the children loved it!
