Beach or Mountain

Ask a Question

I wonder what you prefer, beach or Mountain? I used to beach when I was younger but now I hate it probably too much sun on my skin.

I live on a farm and at the back of me is the mountains and the front of me is the north sea and the beach is only five miles from me and the other beach is 3 miles . So I love both and I know I very lucky to live wear I live. Image Image

Mountains every time.

you'll keep fit walking up it, then get the reward of the lovely views.

I was lucky enough to visit the Tatra Mountains on the Polish/Slovakian border a couple of years ago, they took my breathe away (and not just because it was so high the air was thin)

blacklabrador That is the Annapurna mountains in the Himalayas! Yep, I know I'm mad but this has been on the bucket list for years. All booked for April 2022 with Evertrek on the Annapurna Circuit Trek 150 miles in 16 days. (Everest is 190 miles to the right).

blacklabrador I hope so, I've waited a long time to do this, my only concern is the altitude but hey you only live once and I'll give it a go. We walk anyway so plan is to crank the daily miles and terrain up over next year. The longest day on the Trek is 20mile (flatish) the shortest 3mile with the steepest ascent. I can and will do it 🙂

Usually beaches do it for me, but I’ve been to some beautiful mountainous regions, so I understand why people like it too. But don’t forget, you’re closer to the sun when you’re at the top

I’d say mountain but it depends whether I have to climb to the top 🤔 don’t do great with sun because i have vampire skin and I get bored just lying around but I also don’t want to have to climb a mountain 🤣
