Ask a Question
I would like to say the beautiful flower is rose but my daughter choice is orchid so share me your different kind of favourites
Lily, absolutely love Lillies, had them in my wedding bouquet and always buy them as a treat to myself :-) Orchids are lovely too but hard to maintain the flowers if growing at home they like a certain spot facing westerly i think :_)
Sarahtwinmom My favourite's are Lily stargazers I absolutely love them. It's just the pollen stems in the middle of the lillie's I don't like as they smell so I always tend to trim then off if I have them in my house. Also they can stain whatever they touch
JjacquelineWwri I too trim off the pollen stems as they do stain...eek. All lillies are beautiful :-)
I love daffodils and bluebells. The woods near us has an amazing almost hidden place where the ground is covered in bluebells and whitebells. It's beautiful.
I really love peonies! I wanted them in my wedding bouquet but unfortunately it wasn’t the right season. Roses are beautful too though I had those in my bouquet
I seem to like all flowers. Roses are still the nations favourite but once picked don’t last long even if you condition them properly before sticking in a vase or oasis.
l love orchids, the flowers remain on the plant for months. So it’s the orchid plant thats money saving,
i buy less cut flowers nowadays than I used to.
I love carnations, they come in all different colors and have lovely scent, they last 4 times longer than roses...
Thanks for sharing your favourites and it‘s A great choices to know about the different kind of flowers
English bluebells on a forest floor. Just amazing. Better than those Spanish giants that I keep finding in my garden after I "got rid of them" when I moved in.
I love night scented stock.....the perfume on summer evenings is fragrant and heady. Indoors in a vase I also like lilys and carnations.
I love cala lilies, gerberas and roses. I had them for our wedding flowers. I like flowers that are bright and colourful or have an amazing smell.
