Beginners Luck?

So I’ve signed up to this website fairly recently (in the last week) and I’ve won a prize for my daughter within the first few day!
Very happy with that as I wasn’t taking this too seriously.
Has anyone else experienced a beginners luck like this? Or wish to share experiences of prizes won?
I’m interested to see how common competitions here Are won.
My DIL won some cleaning stuff fairly quickly but weeks later it has still not arrived. But on very first day she did an instant win and got a £25 tesco voucher!
Sorry to hear the cleaning stuff hasn’t arrive, I guess that can be a common thing to happen with prizes, I’m sure you’ll receive it eventually!

I won a load of gardening tools just a couple weeks after I got into comping, but before joining this site. The gardening tools are a grass trimmer, chainsaw, hedge cutter and leaf blower. I couldn't believe it at first because I wasn't used to winning competitions.
And congratulations on your win. 
First time I won on Emerald Street, honestly done it for years and signed up to so many comps there. I started to believe it is not legit and than I won a hand cream...
I wondered about emerald street and stopped with them. Now I know it is legit I might enter their comps again. I have won some things earlier on in the year, then the wins stops, then I stopped doing comps, now I'm back doing them again so we will see what happens.
I started comping 12 years ago after entering a random competition for a bottle of vodka and winning lol. December is always the best month for me for wins because there are loads of advent comps which include a fair few instant win competitions.
