Do You Believe That Parents Don't Have a Favourite Child?

I think people just dont like to say they have a favourite i know that i am my parents favourite im also a lot closer to them than my brother and sister (who are 15 years older than me), ive always been the baby. I think it makes a difference when you have children at a different age. My mother had my siblings when she was under 20 then i came along in her 30s, theyve always said she had more patience and was nicer to me

I think that parents have favourites at different times depending on circumstances and situations. My husband is the current favourite because he gave them their first grandchild. I am my parents favourite, always have been. My son is obviously my favourite as he is the only baby, unless you include the dog! I think that you love your children equally but you might like one more than another due to their behaviour, the way they act towards you etc

i don’t have kids, but my friend who has 3 definitely has a favourite of the moment, and one who is being the worst behaved or most demanding.. They tend to take it in turn so it can change daily

I can only speak for myself and say I definitely don't have a favourite. But I love them differently for their personalities and characters. The best thing is that I know they love me unconditionally as I do them.

Yes of course parents have favourites, but I’m sure (and hoping) that the parents still treat the kids equally and offer them all the same opportunitie, etc. In my culture, you would traditionally treat your favourite child the worst - think it’s a confuscious thing
