My advice would be don’t buy cheap paint use good quality or you will have more coats to put on and I find with cheap paint brush strokes are harder to avoid Homebase sometimes has a buy one get one half price on good quality paint failing that find where local painters are getting supplies normally in a unit in a industrial estate the price tends to be around 30% cheaper than you will pay in stores

I got paint from Wilkinsons and it was great I had to do 2 coats but that's because of the walls

Paint in Wilko is well costed.Not a huge selection but quality is good.

It's worth checking b&m as I managed to get Dulux paint for under £5 and they had alot of colours to choose from.

Was in Tesco today Johnson’s pure brilliant white was £3.75 for 5 litres have never used it myself but seems a great price
