With the upcoming Christmas let think about the best Christmas gifts that can make someone really happy ad show affection
Years ago before it was normal to binge watch, record programmes, get on demand etc I was a great fan of a particular programme. My son got me the complete boxset for Christmas and I was so thrilled I let out a little scream and was thumping my feet up and down! The programme? 24 starring Keifer Sutherland.
I think the best received present was when I got my sons and granddaughter and their spouses a hotel chocolat velvetiser for each couple.
Lynibis ...My partner absolutely LOVED 24, once our daughter was in bed & I went to bed he would grab a beer & some snacks & sit watching like he was in the cinema!!
Our daughter 26, mentioned yesterday that she might sit & watch the old episodes of 24 with her Da!
janphoenix51 it's lovely to know others have enjoyed a series you've loved yourself. I have watched it all twice and daresay I will again. Do you not fancy it yourself, it is heart pounding stuff?

martinlufc5637 the ones I'm getting are the 6in ones waterproof in tan I've wanted them since I was 16 but my mother couldn't afford them she got me some that were £30 and honestly couldn't fault them they lasted me 10 years so I'm in need of some new ones

I remember getting a Raleigh Arena racing bike for Christmas many years ago. I'd selected it in Halfords and then had to play the waiting game until Christmas. First new bike I got all my previous bikes were secondhand. I also remember getting a Atari VCS games console very fondly. For the next 2 years I think I would get VCS cartridges as part of my Christmas. I used to play Hero and Space Invaders a lot.
