I've tried slimming world, weight watchers, the Cambridge diet, calorie controlled and various others. All work briefly till the cravings for sugar get to me. Last year I tried Keto and Intermittent fasting, it worked brilliantly and I actually lost my cravings.

Intermittant fasting is great for your health anyway, the body consumes dead or damaged cells when fasting and it gives the body time to repair and clean itself. I personally think the worst thing is to combine sugar and fat together that allows the body to rapidly gain weight. Also fibre is difficult for the body to digest and actually fuels the bacteria in your system which is actually a very positive thing so high fibre carbs should not be seen as negative, i.e. banana's and other fresh fruit. I guess my point is keep to natural food rather than processed food which is annoying as I love my processed food with lots of sugar.

When I have the will power to do it I've lost lots of weight by just eating one sensible meal a day and feel fantastic doing it. I've lost I think 7kg in one week by exercising hard, fasting and eating sensible food although a lot of that weight is probably water loss and toilet visits.

Honestly have a look at Team RH Fitness on facebook. It's a long term solution and ever so simple.

I can honestly say my best diet was pregnancy. I had a craving for deep pan pizza and would eat probably 4 nights a week and would snack on carrot sticks and jam. After I gave birth I was 20lbs lighter than I was when I fell pregnant. More recently though I have to say it's been slimming world or a bout of d&v

Cutting down on portion sizes and consume plenty of protein, fibre and healthy fats. Those 3 things keep you full for longer.

I don’t stick to diets even though I should. I have a very late breakfast then an evening meal, always followed by something sweet. Last night it was an orange then some chocolate. My weight remains static but definitely overweight.

The best diet is the one that works for you! I really do believe that. Personally I like to not restrict myself in terms of, if I want pizza then I’ll have pizza but I won’t have the fries and I’ll only have half a pizza and a salad on the side. it’s just moderation really 😊

So I explained this to my husband and it worked after he kept yoyo dieting.

Don't diet change your life style.

I.e don't strict diet just change unhealthy eating habits. And his worked really well and its been almost 8months with no yoyo weight loss then gain 🙂 he just losses and he's so much happier
