Best Dog Toys
Ask a Question
Hi without spending loads of money what dog toys do people use that is difficult to destroy.
We use Kong but anything else?
I bought a kong bear toy for my two dogs and originally only got one to see if they'd like it ,they both fought over it ,so bought another identical one and they both not touched them since ☺
My 2 constantly rip up their toys, I made them some home made ‘rope toys’ using some old work overalls cutting into segments and tying knots into them for them to chew. I also made some cat toys using the same materials and some pom poms on strings for them to claw at.
I have recently given the dogs my old Dalmatian slippers which I found in the cupboard! Bolto loves them lol.
AliceBell64468 It's not too good an idea to give a dog anything intended to be worn by humans as a plaything, they will assume that ALL such things are toys. (then rip them apart)
Incidentally your dog reminded me of my last one (long gone)
davidstockport yes I see exactly where you are coming from, luckily my two are very good and only chew what is given to them lol, and I make sure my shoes are in the cupboard! Awww wow what a cutie, looks more like my other dog Bailey - very alike!
AliceBell64468 My dog's mother was a black Labrador - his father was a big Alsation that could get over 10 foot walls, we had him from him being 25 days old, he was one of twelve and his mother couldn't cope, my pictures are of photographs to mobile phone so aren't too clear but you can probably see both breeds from this. The ears on all three dogs are so alike.
davidstockport Ah sounds and looks a wonderful dog, they all do look alike! I wonder if our Bolto is crossed with an Alsatian as they do look alike. I would love to know what both our two are crossed with. Some great pictures, love all dogs
AliceBell64468 They look so similar that they could be the same cross (definitely some Labrador), I've always liked cross breeds they're usually more intelligent and healthier, and usually live longer.
My Jack Russell lives a tennis ball and a plastic bottle. She has also taken a shine to our sons molar mallet teething toy.
