It depends on your skin type as to what will be best for you. I use the Vitamin E range from the Body Shop as it is nice and thick and gives my skin the hydration it needs. I also use the Boots own witch hazel range. I have sensitive skin which gets flaky quite often and I have found these work really well for me, but it will depend on what your skin needs are.

Home made ones....just buy the ingredients and mix with hand blender and you will know what is inside. Also need to research a bit, because some ingredients are called in several different names and of course when it says on the bottle vitamin A, E...etc it is cheaper. So u can get all the good ingredients and mix it for yourself and make enough to last a month and after start again... It will be natural and contain the vitamins u want, you just need to keep it in the fridge.

That's amazing, which ingredients do you use? Do you make just face masks or creams as well?

It really all depends on what kind of skin you have. I have oily skin and I find Simple to be the best one for me. Plus, it's also great for sensitive skin.

Having said that, I find the Sainsbury's own brand face products for oily skin to be pretty good.

I use Aldi face wash and I have to say it’s absolutely amazing, especially when I’ve come in from an evening out and my face is caked in makeup it gets every bit off and leaves my face feeling so fresh! Nice & cheap as well 😌

I like to use CereVere as I have dry to very dry skin on my face as well as Nivea the big tub as it's thick and I use it under my foundation. I also used to use Cetaphill but got bored of it. I am now going to try The Ordinary as I read good reviews and are recommended by dermatologists themselves.
