Best Fish and Chip Shop in the Uk

We've just found one locally and it's fab - they cook the chips in front of you, always hot, always crisp and lots of salt and vinegar!

I've honestly always avoided them, and chicken shops. They just give a bad vibe and ain't usually very clean.

I’ve not got any good ones near me. The ones I used to enjoy all closed down, usually because the owners retired. They sold proper fish and chips, and they were cheap and cheerful. These days, it’s an expensive novelty meal, dressed up by fancy hipsters

There isnt any near me anymore, only burger or chicken shops etc etc. Fast food doesn't seem to include anything traditional anymore

Our local ones are absolutely awful.

Greasy fish with bones in and twice/three times reheated chips.

There is quite a good one around 10 miles away, but they keep running out of fish if you don't go early enough
