When all these troubles come to an end, where are you looking forward to going to
Just anywhere! I'm really missing stepping on a plane, especially as a year ago today I was wandering around New York
Dennab Chicago is indeed on my US list, along with Austin, San Francisco & Maine
blacklabrador San Francisco, yes!! The coast starlight train is a good way to get there from LA although I'm more a driver than a rider. I've not done Austin or Maine but touched Texas briefly on two roadtrips. The people are just as you'd expect. Route 66 halfway point is in Texas and didn't I know it when I received an uninvited lecture on Christian faith from the hotel owner there. It was all part of the fun though.
blacklabrador It's amazing. You meet the real American people in the middle of nowhere, not the ones we see on TV. That was half the attraction. You see some very random sites too. We went to the gates of Area 51 just for the hell of it. Guards sit on a hill waiting to pounce!
There are several places I would love to travel to. As soon as possible I would like to visit Germany.
Roadtrip. Route 66 again if I had the money but I will probably use the recent problems as an excuse to see more of the UK and Ireland via road.
I just want to travel...we put it off while working and this year was to be the beginning ... ah well...so, any ideas I find I'm researching.
I would have travelled the whole world by now thanks to Covid bans and restriction. I have heard that all airlines will be requiring a negative covid test Certificate before you board the plane? i would love to be sea surfing in Australia Or Spain.
COVID tests.. lol. Those things are pretty unreliable, i.e., it can say you have it and then you don't.
